Subscription terms

1. Who these terms are between

These terms are between Attune Base and the business that uses it ("you"). The person who agrees to them confirms they're allowed to do so for the business.

2. Your plan and what it costs

Your plan is the tools you choose, plus any accounts beyond the ones included. The price of each tool, the discounts and the monthly ceiling are shown on the pricing page and in Settings before you pay. Prices are in Australian dollars.

New businesses get a 14-day free trial of every tool they choose. No card is needed for the trial. If you haven't started a paid plan when the 14 days end, your account is paused: only your starting tool keeps working and your public page closes until you pay. Your records are kept: invoices and sales stay, and a client's details are only anonymised once they've been inactive for your business's retention period (7 years unless you change it).

Businesses that joined before the free trial began keep the terms they joined on: one core tool - the one they started with - free for their first 90 days, then charged at its normal price if they keep it.

Each person with a login to your business is a seat. Your first 3 seats are free, and each one after that is A$14.99 a month (HK$79 for a business billed in Hong Kong dollars). Your accountant and bookkeeper logins are always free.

You pay only for the people active in the month before each payment: the owner, and anyone with a sign-in, a shift, a clock-in, a booking or class, or a payslip in that month. Archived staff aren't counted. If you've bought seats ahead, you pay for that number or the people active, whichever is more.

Founding offer: in your business's first 3 months, each paid seat is A$9.99 a month. The offer ends after those 3 months, and from then each seat is the standard price.

Businesses that joined before this seat pricing keep the number of free accounts they joined with.

Every location of your business (another shop in Settings > Locations) is included at no extra cost. Fair use: up to 5 active locations; for more, contact us and we'll agree it with you.

3. When you're charged

Plans are paid monthly, in advance, on the same day each month as your first payment. By agreeing, you authorise us to charge the card you choose (through our payment provider, Stripe) each month until you cancel.

When you add a tool or buy more accounts part-way through a month, you're charged straight away for the rest of that month (pro-rata), and the new monthly price applies from your next payment.

When you take a tool out, or buy fewer accounts ahead, the change applies from your next payment. There's no refund for the part of the month already paid.

4. If a payment fails

We'll tell you, and try the card again. If it's still unpaid after 7 days, your account is paused: only your starting tool keeps working and your public page closes until it's paid. Your records are kept: invoices and sales stay, and a client's details are only anonymised once they've been inactive for your business's retention period (7 years unless you change it).

5. Cancelling

You can cancel any time in Settings → Billing. Your plan keeps working until the end of the month you've paid for, and you're not charged again. Your information isn't deleted when you cancel: we keep your records read-only for 7 years, unless you ask us to delete them.

6. If Attune Base closes

If we ever stop running Attune Base, we'll tell you by email at least 90 days before, and you'll be able to download a full export of your business's information until it closes.

7. Changes to prices or these terms

We'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a price you pay goes up or these terms change in a way that affects you. If you don't want to continue, you can cancel before the change applies.

8. Taxes

Prices include GST once Attune Base is registered for GST. Until then no GST is charged.

9. Your card details

Card details are entered into Stripe's secure form and go straight to Stripe. Attune Base never sees or stores your full card number.
